The Certified Tesla Pre-Owned Program offers clean, high-quality, low-mileage Tesla Model S and Model X at attractive prices. Each vehicle in the Tesla Pre-Owned Program has been thoroughly inspected by factory-trained technicians and reconditioned to look and drive like new.

Inspection

The Tesla Pre-Owned Program tests and reconditions each vehicle before offering it for resale. Unlike most other certified pre-owned automobile programs, Tesla's website does not provide details on the testing process or the specific items that are checked, (as of this writing).

Warranty

The Tesla CPO program offers two distinct warranty options:

• 4-year / 50,000-mile limited warranty, or
• 2-year / 100,000-mile maximum odometer limited warranty

Extras

Certified Pre-Owned Teslas are covered by 24-hour roadside assistance while under the 4-year / 50,000 mile warranty. Flat tire assistance may include a loaner wheel when available. If not, Tesla covers up to 50 miles of towing to the nearest Tesla Service Center. Lock out services are included in the roadside assistance program, with some restrictions. Roadside assistance does not cover the cost of towing a Tesla vehicle that has been damaged in a collision.
