Inspection

Factory-trained Certified RAM Truck Pre-Owned technicians run each vehicle through an extensive 125 step test. Any defective or damaged parts are replaced with high-quality units. Official MOPAR parts are used throughout. Each and every RAM Truck is thoroughly tested on a wide range of criteria, with a checklist that includes a pre-road test, under hood checks, and extensive operational checks. Every truck is road tested for steering performance, equipment operation, powertrain performance, braking performance, and comfort. The post-road test includes checks for fluid levels and leaks, as well as hot restart performance. All fluids are inspected and/or changed, as applicable. Front and rear brakes must have at least 50% of lining remaining. All tires and wheels must match and be correctly sized. Vehicle interiors and exteriors are checked for condition and professionally detailed before they're offered for resale.

Warranty

The RAM Truck CPO warranty program provides a lengthy limited powertrain warranty, along with extendable coverage and some handy extras.

• The 7 years / 100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty covers the engine, transmission and driveline. It runs from the date the vehicle was originally sold as new. A deductible applies for each covered repair visit.
• The 3-month / 3,000 mile Maximum Care Coverage runs from the date of the certified pre-owned sale or at the end of the remaining 3-year / 36,000-mile basic new vehicle warranty (whichever is more beneficial to the owner). A deductible applies for each covered repair visit.
• Truck Rental Allowance is provided for warranty repairs that take overnight (up to $35 per day / $175 per occurrence).
• Certified Warranties can be upgraded with Powertrain Care, Added Care, Added Care Plus and Maximum Care coverage at added cost.
