1995 – In 1995, the Blazer was redesigned to include a larger interior and enhanced performance. The SUV came standard with a 4.3-liter V6 engine capable of producing 190 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. Two-door and four-door designs were also available.
1983 – The first generation Blazer was modeled after the already successful Chevrolet S-10. These early models were viewed as inexpensive alternatives to more expensive sports utility vehicles.
