The Lincoln Aviator offers the comfort, drivability and durability of a full-size SUV in a compact package. Even better, with its third row of seats, this seven-passenger sport utility vehicle includes something that many of its midsize competitors lack: a spacious interior at an affordable price. Sure, the Aviator may not offer the off-road capability of other heavy-duty SUVs. However, its roomy interior and array of luxury features make it a great choice for the in-city commuter.

In 2005, only three short years after it was introduced, Lincoln halted production on the Aviator. This is actually good news for the economically-sighted car shopper. Due to this car's short production run, great deals can be found on a used Aviator. In response to the success that they were experiencing in the full-size SUV market, Lincoln introduced the midsize Aviator in 2002. This car offered everything that its full-size counterparts had to offer, just in a smaller easier to handle package.
