Not many full-size SUVs can compare to the Suburban in terms of space, dependability and affordability. Even further, it is hard to ignore this three-row SUV's superior handling, smooth ride and ease of maneuverability. With its heavy-duty towing capacity and seating for nine passengers, the Suburban has become a great choice for independent contractors or large, growing families. If you are in need of a full-size SUV with class leading cargo capacity and dependability, the Chevrolet Suburban is certainly hard to overlook.

The origins of the Suburban date all the way back to 1941. These early models could seat up to eight passengers and had additional cargo space. Chevrolet updated the Suburban in 1967 to include the addition of a third door on the passenger side. This redesign offered one of the most dramatic changes in the Suburban's long history. A completely revamped body now offered four doors and an updated interior. The fourth generation Suburban saw Chevrolet design the SUV to match the sleek styling, heavy-duty body frame and modern interior of their trucks. Comfort and handling were the focus of the 2007 remodel. The 1992 Chevrolet Suburban began to offer three different interior styles. A new contemporary design and high-end features helped to give the Suburban a more refined feel. Chevrolet redesigned the Suburban in 2000 to compete with Ford Excursion. Even with its slightly more compact size, the nine-passenger SUV still offered a massive interior.
