Egon Smola, Vice President Leads Business
At the helm of the most successful provider of sales leads to auto dealers, Egon Smola is responsible for the management and strategic direction of Dealix.
Before joining Dealix, Egon was General Manager with P&L responsibility for Yahoo! Personals. Prior to Yahoo!, he was Group Business Manager at Vodafone, where he was responsible for the roll-out of wireless Internet applications across eight European mobile operators. Smola also served as Country Manager for Amazon.com, Austria and Switzerland. And he held leadership positions as a Management Consultant with Capgemini and as Chief of Staff at the largest geriatric hospital in Austria.
Egon received his BA from the Vienna University of Economics in Austria and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Kevin Hunt, Vice President Sales
Kevin Hunt has responsibility for the sales of all of Dealix’s products throughout the ADP Dealer Services sales organization.
Prior to joining Dealix, Hunt held various senior positions in sales and business development. Most recently, he was Vice President of sales at Klutz Press, an internationally recognized publisher of children's activity books. Prior to Klutz Press, Hunt held positions at companies such as Berkeley Systems, a publisher of consumer entertainment and business utility software; Pinnacle Systems/AVID, a leader in digital video products; and Ironside Technologies, a CRM and eCommerce software company. The majority of Kevin’s professional career has been spent in sales and marketing leadership roles, involved in building new businesses, and the sales channels to support them.
Kevin received his BS from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors.

Samara Jaffe, Vice President Operations
Samara Jaffe has responsibility for the day-to-day operations management at Dealix, including the strategic direction of the leads processing platform, inventory processing and dealer-facing products, and growth of the Dealix consumer portals.
Samara is well versed in P&L management and has a proven record of impacting top-line revenue and bottom-line profit through innovative business practices, strategic business development, product and account management and customer focus. Prior to Dealix, Samara was President of a direct marketing business and also held leadership roles at AOL in vertical general management and business development.
Samara holds a B.A. from University of Southern California.

Kim Jennett, Director Marketing and Brand Strategy
Kim Jennett has responsibility for developing brand strategy and driving marketing programs at Dealix. This includes the strategic direction for driving demand and being the voice for the customer base.
Kim brings over 18 years of experience with an extensive background in developing strategic marketing and branding campaigns for emerging and industry leading companies including Ford Motor, Levi Strauss, HP and Visa International. Kim has also been interviewed by numerous print and television outlets, as well as lectured on a number of topics including design, new media and brand development.
Kim received her education in Visual Communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Kim’s first car was a 1970 Chevy Nova.
Andrew Dewhirst, Director Business Development
Andy Dewhirst leads business development for both the new and used vehicle verticals for Dealix. This includes developing and managing key publisher partners, wholesale/OEM client relationships and product vendors.
Prior to joining Dealix, Dewhirst held a number of leadership positions focused on strategic planning and new business development, including positions with AutoTrader.com, Yahoo! and Fair Isaac, Inc.
Dewhirst holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a B.S. degree from Allegheny College.
Andy’s first car was a 1983 Renault Fuego
Iolanda Matinhos, Director Business Operations
Iolanda Matinhos is responsible for day-to-day operations management at Dealix, including ensuring a great customer experience with the Dealix lead supply and delivering business intelligence throughout the organization.
Most recently she was Senior Manager, Business Operations at Yahoo!, where she managed several digital properties within the Local and Communities space, including Business Listings, Flickr, etc. Prior to Yahoo!, she was Director, Business and Product Operations at Affinion Group, an affinity marketing firm. In this role, she worked on various executive-level product development and process improvement initiatives.
Matinhos received her BS in Management from Cornell University and MBA in Strategy from New York University.
Iolanda’s first car was a Saturn
Keith Butler, Director Online Marketing
Keith Butler is responsible for the development of our comprehensive online marketing strategy, and the execution of user acquisition, conversion and retention strategies for the Dealix portfolio of new and used car websites.
Butler brings more than 20 years of senior management roles in Internet marketing, online advertising, and business development. Prior to Dealix, he directed the digital marketing services as VP-Interactive Services for EvansHardy + Young, a full-service advertising agency in southern California. Butler has held senior marketing and management positions at Advanced Computer Communications, Redgate Communications, America Online, Previewtravel.com, and OfficeDepot.com.
Butler holds a BA from California State University, Chico.
Keith’s first car was a 1964 Corvair Monza
Clark Maruyama, Director Engineering
Clark Maruyama is responsible for the delivery of Dealix's technology and IT platforms and infrastructure.
Clark brings over 20 years of experience to Dealix having worked in all aspects of engineering from tech management, quality engineering, core engineering code design and development to project management. Most recently, Maruyama managed intranet, ERP, and web portal solutions at Genomic Health. Prior, Clark led the engineering product team at Demandtec which was the company’s main revenue driver.
Maruyama holds a BS in Physics from UCLA and his MS in Computer Science from USC.
Clark’s first car was a 1967 Chevy Camaro
